FACTS tuition management frequently asked questions


1. Are arrangements going to be made for those that pay in cash because they cannot or are unable to have a checking account?
a. There are two options available. If you choose to pay in cash you will need to pay for the entire tuition, fees, extended care (if applicable) up front, due May 1st. Or you may pay by credit card at the frequency you desire through FACTS.

2. Will the invoice option be offered through FACTS?
a. No, invoices will not be offered through FACTS.

3. Will the FACTS fee be charged every year?
a. Yes, along with our annual facility and materials fees, FACTS will need to be updated each year for the new school year term and will incur the annual fee.

4. If the choice is made not to enroll in FACTS, will my child's attendance be denied?
a. Yes, we are requiring a 100% enrollment of our families into the FACTS system.

5. Will FACTS collect book fees, facility fees, lunch vouchers, etc. or just tuition?
a. For the upcoming 2011/2012 school year, FACTS is set up to take all fees and tuition, starting with a draft of your account on June 15th for books. At this time, FACTS will not be collecting meal vouchers for lunch, nor will FACTS be collecting the initial registration or re-enrollment fee. You will need to pay those in our business office.

6. Can you apply for the FACTS Grant and Aid Assessment at this time?
a. Currently we have not activated the Financial Aid program through FACTS. We are looking to initiate this program at a future date.

7. Is Extended Care paid through FACTS?
a. Yes, all Extended Care programs are drafted from your account on the same frequency as your tuition payments. All changes to Extended Care can be managed through our Business Office but must be completed a minimum of 2 business days prior to your account's being drafted.

8. Can we make payments (send checks) to FACTS instead of giving out banking information online?
a. At this time the only payment options via the FACTS system is either a checking account bank draft or a credit card payment. Rest assured that FACTS uses the highest security technology to ensure your account information is not inadvertently accessed nor at risk for unauthorized obtainment.

9. Does paying the tuition in full for the entire year receive a discount associated with it?
a. Due to the transition to FACTS, we are unable to offer an additional discount for payment in full. Currently, if you pay your account in full, the FACTS payment fee is waived by SCA.

10. Can I pay my child's tuition in full but then pay Extended Care monthly?
a. No, you must opt for either a payment in full of your entire account or a monthly draft option for all money owed.

11. What is the tuition payment in full date?
a. August 1st is the FACTS pay in full date for tuition. Book fees will be drafted beginning June 15th and other fees will be drafted in July. If you choose a cash only option without signing up for FACTS, all tuition, fees, and extended care programs are due May 1st.

12. Is the $75 re-enrollment fee per child or per family?
a. The $75 is per child so if your family has 2 or more children, the re-enrollment fee is $135 per family.
