ODACS is an organization
that unifies the church schools in Virginia. They hold an annual
teacher's convention for the training and improvement of our teachers,
organize fine arts competitions between the schools, and organize
sports competitions like a track and field day. Perhaps the most
valuable service provided by ODACS is that they have people in
the state and federal governments that keep an eye on legislation
and laws that directly affect education (public and private).
They keep us abreast of voting records, hidden agendas and dangers
of bills, and they also lobby and help us lobby our representatives
to make certain they are doing what is right.
