ADMISSIONS
Thank you for your inquiry into Sweethaven Christian Academy. Sweethaven was established in 1971 as an educational outreach ministry of Sweethaven Baptist Church. Its purpose is to provide parents the opportunity to give their children a Biblical education in a Christian atmosphere.
How to Apply
To begin the process,, the following needs to be turned into our academy office:

Registration fee

Completed record request form (not needed for K5)

Birth certificate

Recommendation forms (high school students only)
STEP 1
Our staff will process your application and contact the previous school for your child’s records. Also, if your child’s previous school did not use the Abeka curriculum, we will contact you to set up an appointment to be tested.
STEP 2
After this is complete, our staff will then contact you to come in and meet with our administrator for a family interview. We ask that the student attends as well as at least one of the parents.
STEP 3
Registration will then be completed in our business office where you will sign the financial contract.
STEP 4
After acceptance, as required by the state of Virginia, we will need a copy of your child’s up to date shot records (K5 students will need a Virginia School Entrance Health Form)
