OUR SCHOOL

Sweethaven Christian Academy is dedicated to the philosophy that Biblical education is the only true education. This view holds that God is central and that everything else exists in relation to Him. The Bible says that the "fear of God" is the beginning of both knowledge and wisdom. Therefore, any valid education must have this "reverence of God" as its starting point and "doing the will of God" as its goal.

Sweethaven Christian Academy exists to train and disciple young people to serve the Lord with all of their hearts, souls, and minds.

It is our conviction that a Christian school should provide both an environment and a curriculum conducive to effective learning. Therefore, we believe quality education includes building strong spiritual character, academic foundations, and discipline.

The basic objectives for which we strive are:

To provide sound academic training integrated with a Biblical view of God and the world.
To uphold the Bible as specific in stating the principles which underlie Christian education.
