Preschool

The preschool department of Sweethaven Christian Academy provides quality programs for children ages 3 and 4. We have been helping families meet the social, physical, and cognitive needs of their young children for over 40 years. Preschoolers are eager to learn, and their parents are delighted with their children's achievements as a result of using our program. Students enjoy a balanced program that motivates them to look forward to elementary school.

The school year runs September to June. Sweethaven provides flexible care starting at 6:30 a.m. and ending at 5:00 p.m. each day, Monday through Friday. The main educational instruction takes place during the morning hours.

The preschool programs at Sweethaven are not just a "baby-sitting" or "play" school service. They are a delightful educational experience.

Our dedicated Christian teachers understand the need to provide instruction with care and love all boys and girls as if they were their own.

Sweethaven's preschool program includes the following:

  • Learning the alphabet

  • Learning colors

  • Enjoying nursery rhymes, art, and singing

As an educational ministry of Sweethaven Baptist Church, our preschool is religiously exempt from licensure and is classified as a “religiously exempt child day center.”
